My client is a leading business services organisation with worldwide operations in over 50 countries and a workforce of over 30,000 employees internationally. Despite their size, UK operations are a vibrant, collaborative team with a sizeable marketing department working closely together. The role will be based from Central London with flexibility & hybrid home-working available.

Your new role
As Head of Marketing Data, you report directly to the Director of Digital Marketing and will be responsible for providing the lead on data analysis, data management and project management for all data-related projects in support of commercial business objectives. This will include all customer acquisition, retention, renewal & loyalty programmes. You will deliver a data strategy and be comfortable staying "hands-on" with the data to manipulate, investigate and report on data to support the wider Marketing function in creating programmes for improved customer engagement.

As part of the wider Marketing function, your job is pivotal in creating and enhancing marketing performance reports; building dashboards and tracking customer behaviours to advise on appropriate Marketing activities. You will be working with multiple data sources across a wide data architecture not just to gather and analyse data, but to create actionable insights that deliver commercial value. This role is not to manually report data, but to succinctly analyse and interpret it and be able to drive commercial growth, automated processes and identify business opportunities through data-driven insights. This role is a newly created position to ensure the continued success of customer programmes across the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Marketing Data Analyst/Insights Manager with a strong interest and experience in Digital Marketing. You'll be confident in investigating & manipulating data, and can prepare insights & reports in a clear and concise way that translates data into actionable insights. You will have demonstrable experience with reporting tools (PowerBI) and have familiarity with writing SQL queries. Experience with Marketing CRM or Automation tools (Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot) as well as web analytics tools is valuable, as is any experience with data modelling tools and experience in identifying customer behavioural patterns and commercial opportunities through predictive analysis.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £70,000 plus package including bonus. You will have the opportunity to head up a growing analytics function as the business expands it's data maturity.
