This is working for a prestigious organisation in South East London. The role will involve been Responsible for developing and maintaining the online presence on its website, intranet, social media, and partner websites. Working as part of the Press & Communications team and leading on the maintenance of our online presence, to raise the impact and profile of the organisation Responsible to Head of Communications.

Main Duties: -

* Implementing website changes in line with project timeline
* Building a variety of new pages for the website from the pre-existing templates
* Working alongside colleagues within IT/Digital Solutions to
* develop a regular and effective training schedule for content editors
* develop and evaluate our website architecture and navigation
* ensure a high-quality user experience.
* Liaising with divisional managers, business managers, head of departments, content editors and all other stakeholders involved as needed, i.e. communicating changes or advising on best practice
* Updating and maintaining a variety of internal and external websites on day-to-day basis, including home page, press releases and news stories, while working closely with members of the team and content editors from all the divisions/departments and central King's External Relations Directorate teams
* Website content curation and optimisation (sourcing images, content upload, tagging, SEO advice, SEO metadata entry) through CMS Contensis
* Maintaining and editing WordPress microsites
* Creating, implementing and evaluating SEO strategies
* Data analysis, analytics reporting
* General site and system administration as required
* Management of CMS access
* Producing/sourcing digital media such as photography, website images, video content for web and social media channels
* Preparing statistics on social media performance of the Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter channels
* Ad hoc online marketing campaigns (ie, Facebook ads, promoted tweets) where appropriate
* Developing social media strategy documents and templates

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the below: -

* 5+ years solid experience working on and managing a high-profile site - academia, health or government sector
* Expert in writing content for the web - someone who can translate technical information into plain English.
* Expert in CMS systems
* Able to deal with a range of queries from various stakeholders
* Pro active
* Abel to suggest new ideas and ways of improving digital communications
* Used to writing for a wide range of audiences using multi-channels
* Able to prioritise and plan your own workload
