WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Computer skills: Excellent command of all Microsoft software programs.  Experience of graphic design packages e.g. In Design, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat.  Knowledge of coding in HTML, PHP and CSS preferable.
  • Video/webinar: Experience in hosting and planning webinar programs.  Ability to use video software to create additional media content from recorded events. Ability to create podcasts and short videos
  • WordPress experience: Ability to maintain WordPress based website including creating posts and pages, connections, events, rolling banner maintenance, upload of documents, images, presentations, webinar recordings and content.
  • SEO – search engine optimisation: experience in optimising digital output for maximum exposure and improved search engine rankings together with ability to analyse against results.
  • Digital marketing: Producing and delivering digital strategies to support ACID’s communications, campaigns and membership expansion objectives. Create and implement brand guidelines for digital marketing content.
  • Research and analytics: Planning and measuring effectiveness of stakeholder engagement so that this can be translated into effective communication strategies. Developing initiatives that provide insight and measures into organisational planning.
  • Strategizing and planning: Developing and implementing marketing, engagement and integrated communications strategies.

Social Media

A proven track record in engagement with readership, followers and stakeholders through a sound, measurable social media strategy for Twitter and Facebook, Instagram and Linked in and adhering to strict brand guidelines to reach target audiences. To achieve the following:

  • Liaison on joint activities with industry networking groups
  • Developing an ongoing relationship and dialogue with press
  • Encouraging new members make them fee valued as an ACID member
  • Profile raising within the design sector – designers, magazines, trade shows
  • Reaching out to other like-minded organisations and establishing links
  • Developing a dialogue with members, tracking and celebrating their success

Additional Media

  • Constant Contact mass e-mail service, construction of templates, raising sending lists and planning e-mail releases
  • Press Releases – maintain sending lists, selecting recipients and releasing press stories and statements
  • Publishing – responsibility for collating articles for the quarterly newsletter, liaising with graphic designer/print house

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing program with members to request Member Focus and Member Profile submissions, new images for the website, any special requests from CEO, 12 of each per year
  • Active plan to research and select members who can supply good quality product images for the ACID website banner to ensure 12 per year are achieved
  • Daily/Weekly checks for new Twitter followers and who we should be following.  Also any member news for ACID to retweet or promote
  • Maintenance of Twitter, Constant Contact lists to ensure subscribers are in the correct categories/lists and follow up of unsubscribes and bounces
  • Maintenance of ACID website to include the creation of new posts and pages and uploading to the Newsdesk and other areas as requested.  Identify skills gaps and undertake training as necessary
  • Website Event Calendar weekly check to ensure that all relevant events and any updated information is present on the website event calendar
  • Using Social Media reports to update Ops Director and CEO and assist with analytics
  • Developing ACID Marketplace as an online trading platform for members to use. 

Daily tasks will include the management of;

  • Daily management of twitter, Facebook, Linked In and Instagram accounts and content and pre-scheduled tweets through Hootsuite
  • WordPress Website editing and upload of news stories, events calendar and copy changes
  • Other print – responsibility for arranging re-prints/re-design of existing stationery and marketing material when required
  • Monitoring and reporting of web traffic through the website and monitoring data for other social media platforms using Google analytics and social media analysis tools
  • Press Releases – maintain sending lists, selecting recipients and releasing press stories and statements
  • Publishing – responsibility for collating articles for the quarterly newsletter, liaising with graphic designer/print house
  • Other print – responsibility for arranging re-prints/re-design of existing stationery and marketing material
  • Monitoring and reporting of web traffic through the website and monitoring data for other social media platforms using Google analytics, Hootesuite etc.
  • Supporting the Operations Director with regular reports and analysis on request
