Your new role
The role of marketing and bid coordinator will produce high quality well-constructed bid documentation to support the securing of Frameworks and open market targeted Construction and Civils projects.

There is also an expectation to support the marketing function with external communications and content, marketing activities and admin tasks.

This exciting role is a pivotal one and directly addresses a key strategic goal, which is the pursuit of new business and driving brand awareness.

Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing high quality technical bid documents within strict timescales
* Responding to ITT and tender questionnaires
* Support the submitting of tenders in accordance with both public and private framework requirements.

* Work closely with the delivery teams in order to have a comprehensive and technical understanding of the client's portfolio and the needs of the contract.
* Managing, collating and copy-writing strong and persuasive content for PQQ and bid submissions for project opportunities and frameworks, revising copy input from other departments, overseeing bid content and design.
* Directing needs for project photography and the creation of new assets I.e. case studies for bid purposes.
* Copy writing and briefing design requirements for client collateral such as external brochures.
* Co-ordination of internal resources and data input for PQQs and tenders, using existing information or information supplied by other departments.
* Design of PQQ and tender documents, largely from template.
* Co-ordination of all printing requirements for external use.
* Design internal communications including staff emails, videos, internal training/presentations, branded concepts for new initiatives, updates to intranet.

What you'll need to succeed

* Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant professional subject.
* At least 3 years' previous experience of operating in a similar role.
* Previous experience of dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, including Director-level.
* Exceptional written skills, able to produce professional copy of the highest standard.
* Able to work to strict deadlines in a pressured environment.
* Implicitly trustworthy, with a strong sense of personal integrity and discretion.

This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional with bid writing and copy-writing experience to join a family run construction business based in the South West. The role will be based in the office in Bristol, with some travel required to site where business dictates. A flexible approach to hybrid working is welcomed.
