Assistant Digital Marketing Manager for a financial services organisation located in Edinburgh.

Your new company
This company is committed to transforming financial services and creating better outcomes for their advisors and their clients. It is this purpose that drives everything they do. Whether you are working in a role that is client facing or not, you'll need to be service obsessed to work for this organisation.

It's a fast paced and exciting environment, and one where you will get the chance to fulfil your potential and do work that really matters, to you and their clients. They believe in you having your own chunk of responsibility and being trusted to make things happen.

Your new role
This is a 13 month contract. Important to this role is great teamwork and understanding customer communications needs. You'll be passionate about communicating effectively via online channels and understand or be prepared to learn how to maximise our web channels. This means being a pro at maintaining a healthy balance between delivering on customers' needs and expectations, while managing a dynamic and varied workload. Every day you'll work with the other members of the communications team to make sure campaigns, events and proposition content is up-to-date and engaging.

You'll have accountability for publishing internal and external web content and will need to follow the comms policy to make sure all relevant sign-offs are agreed. You'll need to understand the consequences of all actions and manage these in line with the risk framework.

What you'll need to succeed
You are well-versed at framing the complex in a simple way that is engaging and informative, getting the message across in a way that speaks to and resonates with your audience. With a genuine desire to leverage your skills and help others, you'll have a friendly and warm style, while not being afraid to challenge ideas and process.

Previous experience in the financial services industry and up-to-date knowledge of web management and content. You will have excellent relationship building skills with the ability to prioritise the high impact work, but never neglect the details. Excellent communication skills - you need to be completely comfortable representing our culture and values, with an emphasis on a speedy, friendly style. Able to anticipate the needs of those you work with, juggling conflicting priorities and the ability to think laterally and come up with new solutions to existing problems.

What you'll get in return
You will be paid an attractive salary of £28,000 to £32,000 and rewarded with 25 days annual leave plus 9 bank holidays, a 10% non-contributory pension, up to 10% annual bonus, private medical insurance and life insurance.

Regular social events and fortnightly get togethers (virtual for now!), opportunity for full study support for relevant professional qualifications and extra annual leave days on your 3rd, 5th and 7th anniversary!
