This is a market leading specialist retailer with headquarters in Bristol and offices across the UK, Australia, China, Ireland and the EU. This business has a huge e-commerce presence and turnover in the hundreds of millions. You'll be joining a truly talented e-commerce and marketing team with a real passion for what they do. Due to continued focus and success on the e-commerce side of the business, they are investing in this new role, Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Analyst.


Your new role
The role will involve really using data analytics and user research to inform designs and the e-commerce user experience. You'll be looking at qualitative experience as well as quantitative data to improve the user / customer experience and ultimately CR. You'll use various research methods such as A/B Testing, customer workshops, audits , card sorting etc. You'll then also produce low-fi UX / CRO wireframes and prototypes and map user journeys etc. This role will work really closely with the rest of the development and e-commerce team to continually improve the website experience for users.

In terms of the stack you will use Acoustic (until recently this was called IBM Coremetrics), Tealeaf session recording & heatmaps, Oracle Maxymiser for A/B test, Usabilla for user surveys and GA of course. There is also budget to look at new or different technologies. you don;t have to have experience of all of the above but if you do, great!

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an experienced UX designer or CRO Analyst with a passion for data and continuous improvement. You'll have specific experience working for a retail or e-commerce business and will be comfortable with working across a multi-disciplinary team, communicating with people at all levels in the business. You'll be familiar with analytics and interpretation of data and will enjoy being creative in solving problems.
