Your new company
My client are a multinational manufacturer of B2C and B2B products - owning many recognisable household brands. Due to the expansion of an exciting new Digital team within the B2B division, we are recruiting the job of Digital Content Manager to join on an initial 12 month FTC.
Your new role
Your job will be to write compelling copy for digital content that adheres to online editorial standards, brand guidelines and legal requirements - including but not limited to infographics, articles, guides, checklists, eBooks, white papers, webcasts, video outline/talking points, emails, landing pages, and banner ads. You will utilize market research & existing content to leverage content and determine the best format for potential content. You will also adapt global editorial content to local markets and create EMEA editorial including overseeing the translation process.
You will be responsible for defining Content performance KPIs, testing and tracking for constant improvement - driving the higher engagement as loyalty with customers. You will participate in campaign brainstorming sessions and drive the conceptualisation and creation of content journey maps, and monitor which content elements are performing in order to optimize and improve for future. You will also stay atop of digital copy (SEO), customer experience trends and best practices to incorporate into digital content - working on projects including dynamic copy.
What you'll need to succeed
Our ideal candidate is an expert storyteller who is plugged in to the digital ecosphere. You are able to think through the customer experience and craft engaging copy for touchpoints throughout the digital journey. Your copy should break through the noise, yet stay within brand guidelines and keeping testing & tracking for high end-user engagement (ROI). Additionally, your copy should both captivate and inspire an audience to take action with urgency.
You are also able to project manage content workflow, use content management systems and coordinate translation across multiple languages and content pieces.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £40000 (depending on experience) and various benefits including holiday allowance, expenses etc. This is an initial 12 month contract with possibility of a long-term future with the brand; and you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and drive from within a newly formed digital & lead generation team.
