PR Executive (Remote and Temporary Contract), Watford - 

A household name in the leisure arena needs urgent support with their Public Relations activity, following a recent internal promotion.

It is a temporary position initially, but has the potential to be extended or even made permanent if the right person comes along.

A client of ours for nearly ten years, they are simply a wonderful company to work for, and offer a varied, fun and engaging role that reports into their absolutely amazing Public Relations Lead.

To qualify for this fantastic role, you will be a super-keen self-starter, with the following skills and experience:

• 3 years in a FAST-PACED B2C Public Relations OR Press Officer role
• Managing media relations and forging amazing relationships with journalists
• Ability to confidently handle both proactive and reactive PR campaigns
• A talented writer who can spot a story in anything and get the press excited
• Developing trusting relationships with all internal stakeholders and working collaboratively

It will be a manic and exciting role in a company that has been going for decades and is cherished by millions, so if you’re an immediately-available Public Relations or Press Officer professional that wants to join a dynamic and incredibly down to earth team, then this could be for you!

Initially 100% remote, the role will move to being office-based two days per week from the Summer. Their beautiful offices are easily commutable from St Albans, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Letchworth, Stevenage, Hemel Hempstead, High Wycombe, Harrow, Wembley, Maidenhead, Milton Keynes, Luton, Aylesbury, Bedford, Oxford, Hitchin, Dunstable and all wider areas of Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Greater London and the City of London.
