Your new role

For this role you will be working to collaborate the councils civic centre regeneration stakeholder strategy. You will be working with a number of stakeholders inside the council, including politicians and senior council members, along with the local community such as residents and business who are affected by the project. The post holder must have extensive stakeholder engagement experience within a large public sector organisation and worked on large community engagement events.

What you'll need to succeed

* Experience working in Local Government and other complex organisations.
* Previously worked on large public sector projects as an engagement manager.
* Internal and external stakeholder engagement experience
* Expertise in developing and delivering successful engagement strategies and plans
* Ability to accurately summarise and convey complex information to a diverse audience
* Ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, consultants and local government politicians.
* Self-starter with proactive attitude
