UX Executive, Permanent Position within Higher Education

Your new company
You will be working for and be part of an extremely reputable Higher education organisation with a passion for up-skilling and developing their staff.

Your new role
As directed by the User Experience Designer, but will include:

* Work with the UX Designer to develop and promote UX processes, accessible design guidelines, best practices and standards
* Work with the UX Designer to establish user requirements for webpages and scope projects. Help stakeholders to understand our accessibility- and UX-led iterative design process.
* Work with the UX Designer and Digital Marketing Officer to conduct appropriate analytical research, user research, and usability testing. Help to build user personas and profiles.
* Use research and insight to create designs, using wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Consider accessibility, mobile design and technical SEO at all times.
* Build webpages: Create high-fidelity prototypes in XD, then build final accessible webpages on Sitebuilder using HTML and CSS. Work with Developers to create complex pages. Work with the Digital Team to install final design assets.
* Present, explain and defend designs to peers and executive level stakeholders. Work with the UX Designer and Digital Marketing Officer to monitor, evaluate and plan iterative measures.

What you'll need to succeed

* Experience of UX Design, tools, techniques, and requirement gathering
* An understanding of user-centred design methodologies
* Confidence to work closely with varied stakeholders
* Experience using Adobe XD or a similar wireframing and prototyping tool
* Ability to use HTML and CSS to build BASIC webpages, and brief developers on more advanced designs
* You must be able to manage your time and projects
