Business Development Manager for a leading global insurance organisation based in Scotland.
Your new company
A leading global insurance organisation have a Business Development Manager opportunity available in Scotland on a permanent basis. This position is a home based role however may have to travel across the Scotland's Central Belt when needed.
Your new role
The main goal of this role is to achieve new business targets from direct and the bank distribution route. You will be responsible for generating new business in line with targets and developing business relationships with existing and new brokers, introducers and bank partners.
Managing and converting new business leads provided by market management and generate your own leads by self-prospecting and managing a local CRM database. Providing feedback on leads generated by market management and providing accurate management information on a regular basis is also key to this role.
What you'll need to succeed
Prior B2B business development experience along with field sales experience and a broad knowledge of insurance and financial services is key. The ability to management and maintain relationships with key contacts within insurance and banking.
What you'll get in return
An attractive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 with 10% pension contribution and 25 days annual leave. Equipment such as laptop, ipad and company car will also be provided.
