I am currently working with an award winning Insurance company based in Southampton who are looking for an analytically minded Online Marketing Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.

Your new role
You will be working closely with the E-Business Manager to deliver improvements and developments to their platform, improving design, usability and conversion of new client opportunities. You will be responsible for page creation and site management, liaising with the IT department and compliance to ensure online developments are with the required standard. You will manage the creation of new HTML email templates and work closely with the wider team to produce engaging email promotion to their prospect and client database and source and extract targeted contact lists from CRM for email campaigns. You will be responsible to produce reports on the external email marketing using Google Analytics and use the data to improve results. Building relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure clear communication is essential, and supporting the wider marketing team when required.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a dynamic, analytically minded individual with 3+ years of digital/e-business experience. You will have knowledge of SEO, PPC, E-marketing, Social media, Web analytics, Web security, Web development and CMS. You will have a passion for digital marketing, and a good knowledge of website launches and ways to make improvements. Ideally, you will be proficient in Google Analytics, Google Adwords, MS Office and Adobe design suite. You will need to have excellent numeracy and literacy skills, as well as great communication skills to confidently liaise with stakeholders across the business, including those at Executive level.
