You will be supporting the NHS during it's greatest time of need and at a time where communications has never been so important.
Your new role
As Communications Officer you will be brought in to provide internal and external communications support for several highly important projects, including the launch and roll-out of a COVID-19 vaccine research trial. This is incredibly important work and you will be raising the brand of such work to internal and external audiences.
A summary of your responsibilities:
* Develop, implement and evaluate communications plans to support key projects within the Trust.
* Write, edit and coordinate complex internal and external publications, including media releases articles, briefings, website copy and social media content
* Provide media and communications advice to staff at all levels and apply specialist skills and knowledge to advise and influence project teams regarding the communications and engagement elements of the project.
* Brief journalists and respond to media queries, organise and manage media opportunities including the supervision of filming and photography on trust premises.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a broad Communications role where you have hands-on experience of the above is essential.
Previous experience of working in a complex, fast-paced and ever-changing environment will be extremely useful for this role and in the current climate.
