E-commerce Manager, Northern Europe, (Fully remote, home-working) £55,000 - £60,000

Hays Marketing are delighted to partner with VitaminExpress on the recruitment of an E-commerce Manager for their Northern Europe business. VitaminExpress are an established, successful company in the ever-growing food supplement industry, offering a wide selection of nutritional supplements mainly for its‘ own brand Vitality for health, diet and performance.

Based in the UK, this position is responsible for the development and expansion of our e-commerce business in the UK and Nordic countries. 

The opportunity:

You will be responsible for the development and expansion of our B2C e-commerce business in Northern Europe (focus UK)

·       Own and manage all measures in relation to the VitaminExpress Northern Europe business, analysing and reporting to senior management

·       Utilise market research to obtain and analyse consumer and channel insights

·       Utilise this data to develop and implement the marketing strategy for the brand

·       You will analyse business trends and understand competitor strategies and local market USPs

·        Review existing and recommend effective pricing and promotion strategies

·        Liaise with central marketing, digital, IT and communication functions, ensuring a joined up approach to optimise the conversion rate and usability of the local online shops

·        You will adopt an entrepreneurial approach achieving your sales and margin targets

What you’ll need to succeed 

·       Prior e-commerce experience is essential for this position

·        Proven experience delivering digital growth (B2C)

·       You will bring a strong marketing and sales nous to the position, able to manage end-to-end; from strategy definition, delivery, analysis and reporting

·        Track-record of optimising content to achieve sales goals

·       Understanding of best practices of website optimisation and content creation, and web analytics tools

·       You are goal-oriented, strong in communication, pragmatic and strong in implementation

·       Advanced usage of CMS, Excel and eCommerce platforms

·       Scandinavian languages capability would be advantageous but non-essential

This is what you will receive:

·         A highly competitive salary range of £55,000 - £60,000
