Temporary Campaign, Communications and Digital PR job in Liverpool, public sector

Your new company
Your new company in the public sector are seeking an experienced Campaign Digital Media and PR Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is based in Liverpool but will initially be working on a remote basis.


Your new role
In your new role, you will develop and deliver innovative, social campaigns as part of a wider multi-channel campaign and create visually appealing, multimedia content as well as writing high-quality copy. You will work reactively and proactively to be involved in online discussion on relevant topics, considering every detail of a social post, from images to links to formatting of copy. You will be expected to gather insight on social media conversations and emerging topics; identify opportunities and need for reputation management and be aware of how to optimise performance. You will also be expected to monitor and evaluate social campaign performance including reporting and analysis to add value to ROI and tailor content by understanding channel persona and audience base.


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must have prior communications campaign experience, ideally within the public sector. You will be a passionate professional who is committed to multi-channelled PR. You will be an excellent verbal and written communicator with skills in digital and long form as well as having at least a basic level of design skills; Video editing on smartphone is desirable. You will be a creative thinker who is able to work well under pressure within tight deadline in a fast-paced environment.
