£30,000 – £35,000 per year depending on experience

What can you expect in this role?
We are looking for a committed and hard-working marketing individual keen to join an SME environment and be part of a small team responsible for all marketing activities for Cablecraft.
In this role you will have the freedom to be in involved in a wide variety of marketing activities such as managing digital marketing channels, preparing creative content for print and video, and maintaining and improving the eCommerce platform. This role is suited to an experienced marketing professional who thrives on variety and enjoys working on multiple campaigns at the same time.
+ Manage and maintain the Cablecraft eCommerce platform, make suggestions to constantly evolve and improve the user experience, promote our capabilities, offer and services, including creating website copy, copy for paid search campaigns, designing and implementing new website banners and visuals, conducting keyword research, web statistics reporting, developing strategies to improve website SEO, and use web analytics software to monitor website performance
+ Create, write and despatch digital marketing campaigns on time, to prepared target contact lists (Email, PPC, SEO, PR, Social media ……campaigns)
+ Contribute creative and written content to social media engagement, industry blogs, company blogs, videos, photography and brand awareness campaigns
+ Produce in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Senior Management a monthly and annual marketing plan that supports key sales growth initiatives and works within the agreed financial budget constraints
+ Report monthly back to the business on website performance and digital marketing campaigns and their effective ROI
+ Learn, understand, and embed yourself in the group and Cablecraft brands to build and maintain brand awareness and positioning
+ Closely coordinate with external agency partners including web development, technical support, PPC, SEO and Creative, Campaign design teams
+ Collaborate with Cablecraft cross-functional teams to produce effective marketing materials and campaigns
+ Develop schedules and set/maintain your own goals, tasks, and deadlines, as well as continually developing your own knowledge and skills
+ Assist with other marketing duties such as proofread marketing copy, preparation and organisation of external trade events and other adhoc tasks.
What would make you a good candidate for this role?
+ 3+ years proven experience in a Digital Marketing role (ideally experience in B2B marketing)
+ Experience within a similar industry (technical products/components) is desirable
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail and previous experience writing marketing content
+ Experience of working with eCommerce (Magento 2) and email marketing (i.e. Dotmailer) platforms would be a strong advantage
+ Experience and working understanding of SEO, PPC, HTML and their drivers
+ Experience assisting with the creation of marketing plans and successfully implementing them and create creative and written content marketing assets
+ Experience reporting on (evaluating) website, marketing campaign performance
+ Self-motivated with ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines, must be organised and ability to work well as part of team
+ Good all-round IT skills: Microsoft Office suite, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop applications experience essential
+ Professional and Academic qualifications will support any application (such as a relevant Degree, Chartered Institute of Marketing Qualification etc….)
Other key requirements:
This role is based between two sites one in St Albans and the other in Houghton Regis. You will therefore need to be able to travel to and work from both.
You must be able to start with the company on or near to 1st March 2021.
