Bid Manager

Your new company is a reputable facilities management company that works across all sectors and is based in central London. They have a large structure and a large team to support and optimise your capabilities and outcomes in this role.


Your new role
You will be managing the Bid process from end to end which includes leading, managing and writing high quality bids focused on purely on public sector clients with the aim of winning new work and locking in future business for the company. You will have the support from the Director level staff. This role is very much a proactive opportunity where you will be able to win new business for the company and be a part of a team that adds value across the board.


* Manage and direct all proposal efforts including RFI, ITT, RFP's
* Lead on the development and review of the tender solution and analyse the bid requirements ensuring compliance and customer needs are met
* Build and manage the proposals plan and lead on meetings throughout the process and maintain the proposal schedule
* Take responsibility for the development and completion of story boarding
* Lead and direct writing and editing of the document, manage and review the document with internal stakeholders
* Analyse competitors to best inform the bid document and technical points throughout
* Establish yourself as a well networked and trusted adviser within the relevant public sector space that this business function operates in


What you need to succeed


* You would have previously been in a Bid Management role, bidding for work within the public sector
* You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Bid Management role
* Excellent stakeholder management
* Strong and proven examples of bid writing for public sector bids
* You will be highly organised and confident to present the throughout the bidding process
* You will be able to create a bid document using the already established company templates


What you'll get in return
You will have the benefit of working for a very well established organisation with a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 and a benefit package. You will have the option to work flexibility with 1-2 days at home.
