Engagement Officer

Your new role
You will be accountable for the day-to-day communications and engagement with representatives of the London boroughs, resident and neighbour groups, and other community stakeholders. The post-holder will assist the Community Partnerships Lead / Business Engagement Lead in providing the organisation with a single view of stakeholders, improving the organisations approach to policy, projects and initiatives, and protecting TfL and the Mayor's reputation.

What you'll need to succeed

* Experience working in large public sector organisations in an engagement role.
* Previously executed integrated engagement strategies targeting specific stakeholder audiences
* Experience building and maintaining strong, credible and meaningful relationships with assigned stakeholders
* A good understanding of the relationship between the Media, political decision makers and the organisations key influential stakeholders.
* Good knowledge of relevant policies, and the policy and political environment related to the core stakeholder audience
* Strong working knowledge of external affairs engagement and consultation approaches
* Strong influencing, networking and relationship-building skills
