A progressive legal firm is looking for a talented PR Manager to join its large Marketing & Business Development team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the PR Manager will be based within the Marketing & Communications team providing specialist skills that support the firm's go-to-market strategy and build the firm's brand, internally and externally. As a key member of the team, you will be involved in enhancing, promoting and protecting the firm's reputation and brand with external stakeholders. The role holder will liaise directly with senior lawyers and act as a trusted advisor. The successful candidate will possess line management responsibility for one direct report and will manage the firm's day-to-day PR activity. You will help to develop and support a range of new media initiatives that will enhance the firm's profile raising activities, in particular using your knowledge of media relations, copy and content.

You will be a bright graduate or equivalent, preferably with qualifications in PR or journalism, and must have demonstrable Public and Media Relations experience within the legal sector or a professional services firm. The PR Manager will also possess a proven track record of influencing and engaging senior stakeholders and in developing and running PR programmes and strong experience of proactive media campaigns and their role in building a successful brand. An outstanding communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills and excellent copywriting skills, the ideal candidate will enjoy motivating and mentoring a team whilst working under pressure and managing tight deadlines from multiple stakeholders.
