An excellent regional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to join an established law firm in their Lincoln office.

The firm has ambitious growth plans and the role holder will be joining the firm during an exciting period of change. The firm want to recruit people into the marketing & BD team who will bring new ideas and can help the partnership implement a brand new marketing strategy and improve brand awareness. The Marketing & Business Development Manager will have full responsibility for all marketing channels, including PR, website, social media and events, as well as internal communications. The successful applicant will run marketing plans for individual market segments, bringing together people from different teams and coordinating activities. You will be expected to plan and run successful marketing campaigns, building the firm's brand awareness and winning new instructions in specific target markets. From a business development perspective, you will help the various teams in Lincoln to produce and implement their departmental business plans and will be responsible for building a pipeline of clients and prospects for new business and cross-selling, working with the partners to make introductions and build relationships and supporting pitch opportunities.

The firm requires a strong graduate or equivalent with good business acumen and proven previous marketing and business development experience gained in a law or professional partnership. You will also need to show a demonstrated ability to develop new business and take a commercial approach. Versatile, proactive, articulate and sociable with excellent communication skills, candidates must be willing and able to work well with clients and colleagues at every level and possess the ability to remain calm working under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
