This is a great opportunity for an experienced BD & Marketing Manager to join an independent law firm in order to provide support to their highly-regarded Disputes department.

Working either four or five days per week in a newly created position, the successful applicant will have a real opportunity to shape this broad and challenging role. The Disputes BD & Marketing Manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing to create a business development programme that is suitable both for the firm's brand and for the breadth of firm's clients, spanning corporates, not-for-profit organisations and private clients. You will work with Partners and Knowledge Lawyers to help drive revenues and increase profit margins. This is a hands-on role providing business development support to the firm's practice groups, working across the full marketing and business development mix of initiatives including identifying potential targets, undertaking in-depth research and competitor analysis, driving cross-selling initiatives and contributing to the pitch process. The role holder will also work closely with the central marketing and communications team on a strategic approach to raising the profile of the firm's disputes services to support efforts to win the most profitable and leading cases in their markets.

The chosen candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with proven legal BD and marketing experience in a manager role. This will ideally include previous exposure to either Disputes, Litigation, Private Client or Private Wealth. The Disputes BD & Marketing Manager will be adaptable in their style, diplomatic, emotionally intelligent and possess a high degree of gravitas.
