A leading law firm in the city of London is looking for a Business Development Manager or Senior Business Development Manager to provide high quality and effective business development support for lawyers in the Strategic Advisory practice.

The Business Development Manager or Senior Business Development Manager will be a part of the firm's global Business Development & Marketing team focusing on the Strategic Advisory Division, comprising the Disputes, Tax, Competition and Employment practices. The firm are looking for an accomplished, credible and passionate business development professional to serve as a member of the Divisional leadership team. You will provide commercial advice on the development and execution of the Divisional strategic plan and drive and manage the effective execution of the go-to-market-strategy. The successful candidate will manage and support the entire opportunity pursuit process, including managing opportunity databases, preparing client-focused sales collateral and coordinating partners around regional pipelines and also manage key client accounts, ensuring relationships and growth targets are met or exceeded year-on-year. On the marketing side, the role holder will be responsible for implementing integrated campaigns, events and market facing activities to raise the firm's profile in key markets, leading the directory and award process and working with the communications team on external profile raising.

The ideal candidate will hold a good university degree or equivalent and must have substantial business development experience gained in a B2B or professional services environment. Enthusiastic and proactive, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects, the Business Development Manager or Senior Business Development Manager will also require demonstrated leadership experience for both coaching teams and managing initiatives. Experience of working in a Disputes practice will be a distinct advantage.
