This is a rare opportunity for an experienced business development professional to join a leading international law firm with a truly global presence. The Business Development Manager will be part of team providing support to a dynamic, growing, highly successful and innovative provider of on-line subscription-based legal risk management products.

In order to increase global revenues the firm is seeking a full or part-time Business Development Manager to target and sign new clients with a focus on direct lead generation and targeting non-financial corporates. Reporting to an Executive Director, the role holder will need energy and drive to lead successful marketing and sales campaigns under their own initiative and subsequently report on campaigns, identifying and measuring their success. Acting as a senior champion and brand ambassador externally in the market, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new target sectors and clients, developing a successful strategy for their engagement, and effectively qualifying leads and new opportunities from potential clients. Developing the firm's Salesforce platform, leading client meetings and demonstrations and handling commercial negotiations with clients will all represent important facets of this challenging roll.

Pre-requisites for this role include an outstanding academic record or equivalent allied to extensive marketing and sales experience in a professional services environment, to include a demonstrable track record of generating new revenues via campaigns and prospecting. The ideal candidate would have experience in a sales and marketing role in a publishing, data or information based. In addition, the Business Development Manager will possess the energy and drive to gain results, improve and succeed, sound knowledge of key marketing and sales platforms including LinkedIn and Salesforce and excellent IT skills.
