An excellent 12 month fixed term contract opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Events Manager in a top tier international firm. Joining a well-established team you will work closely with an outstanding group of marketing and business development professionals.

The Events & Sponsorship team is responsible for the development, organisation and management of all major client/ and large internal events. This has previously involved large-scale client events and major internal gatherings across the EMEA region. During 2020, the team has refocused to provide support for virtual events online, including large client webinars and bespoke smaller events for individual clients. The successful candidate will ensure that all event production and management is to the highest standard, reflecting the firm's brand values while meeting the needs of both the lawyers and the firm's clients. The Events & Sponsorship Manager will manage the preparation and running of webinars, and also manage governance across EMEA, including best practice around the usage of technology, managing scheduling across the region and ensuring a consistently high quality of presentation. The role holder will advise and work with the Business Development teams across EMEA, ensuring best practice and assisting onsite when necessary and working with colleagues to create their online events. You will also act in an advisory role to teams managing their own smaller events. Managing corporate sponsorships and ensuring the firm are fully leveraging all associated benefits will represent an important element of this challenging role.

Key requirements for this Events & Sponsorship Manager role include a strong academic background allied to extensive event experience gained in a legal or other professional partnership. The firm are looking for significant experience of designing, planning and running high quality events, held both physically and in virtual formats. The ideal candidate will also combine a positive and creative attitude with excellent event operational capabilities.
