Responsible for managing the category, whilst working closely with the Channel Marketing, Sales and R&D teams.

Client Details

A well-known manufacturing organisation looking to a Product Marketing Manager within their product department. Going through a period of growth, this is a fantastic time to be joining their business. This role is based in Poole but has the flexibility to be based in their Southampton office.


The key responsibilities for this role are:


Acts as a point of contact and ownership for everything regarding this product portfolio internally.

Work with the Global Marketing Manager to coordinate activities to support the wider category portfolio.

Making data driven decisions based on customer feedback, to ensure all new features developed are meeting customer needs.

Responsibility for maintaining and presenting a knowledge of competitors and other external legislative, technological, social and economic factors that influence product development.

Collaborate with Channel marketing on the identification and prioritisation of customer and market opportunities.

Create innovative product positioning strategies based on an informed understanding of market needs.

Working with the R&D and Design teams to ensure new products are developed on-time, on-budget and on-specification.
* Some travel required


The successful candidate will have:

* Relevant product and/or industry experience.

Degree educated, preferably Engineering, Technology or Marketing.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills, expert analytical and numerical skills.

Have a robust understanding of product creation & launch processes with good commercial and technical understanding of the product portfolio.

Team Player, self-starter, flexible 'can-do' attitude.

Be organised & process-driven, with a thorough and structured approach to working.
