One of the world's leading law firms requires an Associate Manager to take responsibility for a full business development role supporting the London Tax, Pension and Employment practice on a 6 month fixed term contract basis.

The Associate Client & Market Development Manager will enjoy a varied role and will be expected to work closely with the practice area, developing a thorough knowledge of the products marketed across TPE and how these fit with the wider firm offering. The role holder will target and drive client focus and business development activities and support global, local and cross-practice sector initiatives. Bid support will represent an important element of this role, with the successful applicant being tasked with the production of RFP responses, pitches, capability statements and credential statements, coaching partners on effective pitch preparation and presentation and improving the process for capturing sector deal information in the global matter database. On the marketing side responsibilities will include directory, awards and league table submissions, production and distribution of marketing communication material, PR, website maintenance and coordination of client events, both off and onsite.

In order to perform this role successfully, the candidate will have previous experience in professional services business development, preferably in a law firm, to include a track record of delivering across the full lifecycle of a pitch, panel pitch or capability request. A highly motivated self-starter and exceptional team player, committed to high performance, the Associate Client & Market Development Manager should hold a degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline and must be confident, articulate, resilient and focused.
