An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Trade Marketing Manager with a leading FMCG / Consumer business based in Surrey. You will work alongside the marketing and sales teams to drive a strong trade marketing and shopper plan into key retailers - utilising market and category insight to make informed decisions and boost ROI.

A corporate business with global reach, you will join a busy team focused at retaining their position as a leading provider of Consumer Goods.


The key responsibilities for the successful Assistant Trade Marketing Manager include;

* Working in partnership with the research and insights team to identify and activate key trends into the business trade marketing plans to optimise performance in each key account.
* Monitoring the performance and impact of all marketing campaigns and initiatives to make sure that effectiveness is understood.
* Developing trade marketing account plans alongside the sales teams; keeping the rest of the business informed about trade incentives.
* Work internally and with agencies to deliver effective POS and BTL marketing strategies.
* Deliver very strong relationships of influence internally and externally.


The successful Assistant Trade Marketing Manager will have a strong background in trade and shopper marketing, ideally having operated as a Trade Marketing Manager and/or Executive within a Consumer / FMCG background.

You will have experience working with retailers with strong examples of influencing and delivering ROI and share an understanding of brand value, positioning, consumer insight and sales execution and acceleration. Ideally, you will be a strong presenter.
