The Commercial Channel Manager will be fully accountable for day to day trading performance of their products and channel, setting and exceeding ambitious targets and driving activity to deliver exceptional performance.

Client Details

Our client is a leading consumer-facing Financial Services organisation.


The Commercial Channel Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day trading performance of the channel, with daily analysis of conversion rates / ARPU / product mix to understand trends and impact of change. The successful candidate will pull together a weekly trading summary and fortnightly performance review presented to the EXco, forecasting projected performance for each week.

The Commercial Channel Manager will develop the channel, ceating proposition, pricing and promotion strategies, identifying growth opportunities,. The successful candidate will create and own the roadmap to deliver P&L targets and take accountability for its execution. The Commercial Manager will use well-honed, stakeholder management skills in order to effectively work with Insight to build segmented and targeted campaigns, and work with pricing and finance to build segmented and targeted campaigns.

This role is office-based in Bristol.


The Commerical Channel Manager will:

* Significant Commercial experience in P&L management and proposition development and delivery in a scale business
* Strong knowledge and experience in Consumer products and services, including proposition design, launch and delivery
* Experience of using customer and market insight to create compelling propositions that meet customer needs and optimise file size
* Highly numerate, able to quickly evaluate concepts for financial and assess benefit
* Experience in building business cases, assessing opportunities and risk and applying strong judgement
* Inspirational leadership of stakeholders
* Experience in managing virtual teams across a matrix, delivering complex propositions with pace
* Experience of direct marketing and communications gained in a high-profile consumer services brand
* Good track record in delivering results with a proven ability to make things happen
* Qualifications, preferred: degree plus marketing qualifications (e.g. CIM or IDM)
