Description

The successful Marketing Manager will have the following responsibilities;

* Develop clear and actionable channel strategies, gain sign off (and budget if required) from all key stakeholders. Champion the communication of your channel strategies to the wider business

* Create and deliver robust annual channel marketing plans for your strategy, including marketing and commercial objectives, ensuring cross-sector relevance and incorporation of the relevant category plans

* Responsible for customer prioritisation and engagement plans (annual marketing planning day etc) in conjunction with channel BDCs and NAMs reviewed annually and updated as required

* Champion of your channel across, especially group commercial category teams and campaign teams- Influence these stakeholders to ensure best in class delivery of annual customer and channel plans

* Be the expert in your channel, with awareness of all economic, political (legislative) changes and impact on your channels including competitor activity. Be first to market with plans to build our credibility as industry experts, and present ourselves as forward thinking/ thought leaders

* Introduce innovative ways of communicating our marketing strategy and plans with our customers and sales forces through integrated marketing plans across the marketing mix and direct customer engagement through meetings and events

* Build 2 way stakeholder relationships both internal and external

* Responsible for sales teams communication to ensure they fully understand and utilise all the resources available to them in a self-sufficient way

* Continuously seeking efficiencies through cross-channel toolkits, presentations and ways of working

* Champion of our brand positioning across all collateral and communication with your direct team and sales teams

* All marketing projects have a clear marketing and business objectives, plan and ROI evaluation


Profile

Job Offer

The successful candidate will recieve a salary of between £40,000-£45,000 on an initial 12 month FTC
