But, we never rest on our laurels. We appreciate that loyalty doesn’t just land on your lap. You have to earn it, try and keep it and sometimes win it back. You’ll be key to ensuring we do just that.

Engaging new customers. Re-engaging lapsed ones. Increasing the number of app users. Generating a growth in covers and frequency of visits. Improving brand awareness and regard. These are all aspects of an all-encompassing external communication role that will also see you lead, grow and develop a Brand Communications team.

One day you might be working on developing a commercially sound strategy, the next, ensuring we put out compelling, purposeful and targeted messaging or coming up with a rolling calendar of activity plans to drive guest visits. Along the way, you’ll manage a budget of around £1m and lead and manage our relationships with PR and other associated agencies and partners. Put simply, you’ll provide commercial clarity and establish and champion the strategic growth and direction of all of our external brand communications.

A great chance to make the most of your technical expertise and enviable knowledge of digital platforms and media channel management, you’ll need an impressive relevant track record gained in the marketing/retail/leisure/hospitality sector. We’ll also be looking for a down to earth and pragmatic business approach and a flair for adapting the message to fit the audience. Someone who’s constantly looking for improvement and questioning the norm, you enjoy working in an outgoing, fun, confident and fast paced environment too. And, if you’re as comfortable carrying out research & data interrogation to inform meaningful insight & planning as you are presenting ideas to an executive team, we should definitely talk.
