An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading top-tier European intellectual property firm as a Business Development Executive based in their London office.

Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, the role holder will enjoy a broad role. You will support on pitches including the administration of the pitch review process and the overall management of pitches and proposals, conduct research projects and prepare reports in support of business development activity and organise and attend practice area sub-group meetings, keeping a record of actions agreed and assisting the Head of Business Development to achieve progress. On the marketing side the Business Development Executive will assist with the implementation of various marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for keeping web pages and social media channels up to date, preparing directory and award submissions and assist the Head of BD and the Communications Manager with the implementation of various marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate for the role of Business Development Executive will be well-educated with a background in a similar role within a legal or professional services environment, enabling the role holder to hit the ground running. Exceptionally organised, with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills, you must have a proactive mind set and a confident approach to working with key stakeholders, including partners and senior staff. German language ability, written and spoken, and an understanding of the IP sector are also highly desirable.
