Super role for an ambitious Marketing Communications specialist to step up into a Senior Executive role with this vibrant and client-focused professional practice based in central London. You’ll be combining your PR and Comms skills with integrated marketing in order to position the brand as a leading name in the market.

The marketing department of around 10 people is a key division of the professional support team. Their role is to position the partnership as a trustworthy and client-focused firm, as well as providing support to each of the specialist teams.

What’s the role?

• Developing and implementing an external comms toolkit and strategy

• Advising on the integration of PR activity into marketing campaigns for each specialist team

• Managing media liaison; building and facilitating relationships with relevant channels and journalist contacts

• Taking ownership of projects and campaigns, liaising with stakeholders and suppliers ensuring deadlines and budgets are met

• Developing and implementing an internal comms and employee engagement strategy 

What skills are we looking for?

Previous marketing and communications experience will position you as a trusted expert to our specialist teams and the Firm as a whole. A collaborative approach, combined with sound influencing skills, will enable you to liaise effectively with stakeholders, wider members of the firm and relevant external contacts.

Skills checklist

Essential

• Educated to degree level 

• Proven marketing and communications experience (including digital)

• The ability to improve marketing processes; embed new processes to ensure best practice around communications in the team

• Experience of liaising with and managing external stakeholders such as suppliers, agencies and journalists

• Excellent attention to detail with exemplary copywriting, copyediting and proof-reading abilities

• Experience of communications planning and budgeting, campaign conception, implementation and measurement

• Excellent organisational, project and time management and communication skills

• Able to build collaborative relationships with firmwide senior staff members and the marketing team

Desirable

• English or journalism degree a

• Masters in a related subject

• CIM or CIPR qualification (or similar)

• Experience of working in a professional services firm or partnership structure

• Experience of liaising with the media

• Experience of managing suppliers and freelance resource
