The successful candidate will get to manage the company's flagship event and the biggest responsible sourcing conference in the UK, attracting over 700 people each year. This year the conference will be held in March 2020

Main Responsibilities of the role:
· Manage the overall planning and delivery of the conference and Awards evening
· Be the main point of contact and liaise with vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, delegates, speakers and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order
· Reach out to potential speakers and provide briefings for conference sessions, with support from the Corporate Affairs Team
· Manage the event within the allocated budget and scope
· Support stakeholders to book accommodation, flights and organise visas
· Liaising with the Marketing and Account Management Team to promote the event, ensuring they are up to date with event information
· Liaising with the Business Development team to support sponsorship sales
· Manage the ticket registration process
· Briefing staff internally about event progress
· Manage all event set up and pack down.


Knowledge and Experience
· Exceptional event management and project management skills, with demonstrable experience
· Well organised with excellent multi-tasking abilities
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· The ability to work to tight deadlines, proactively manage risk and be flexible to change
· Good negotiation and influencing skills
· Be proficient across Microsoft Word and Excel
· Confident with dealing with different stakeholders and bringing speakers
· Immediately available and looking for a 3 day a week role

Job Offer

· Up to £30,000. Pro-rated for three days per week on a 6-month basis.
