Digital Product Owner

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits

Our client is a rapidly growing and highly successful fintech challenger in the credit cards space, with the manifesto of helping clients to build better credit and take control of their financial well-being.

They are currently seeking a Digital Product Owner to work within their retail and ecommerce partnerships, in a team that is responsible for product management, proposition development, existing customer management and digital programmes.

The purpose of the role will be to drive innovative new propositions, bringing greater digital integration with their retail partners.

The successful person will own the build, development and optimisation of co-branded propositions, from user journey to optimisation and digital change, managing a range of competing priorities.

We are seeking a candidate who ideally has a credible understanding of financial services digital customer experience, if possible within credit cards, loans or the POS market place.

Key responsibilities:

* Supporting the senior manager in setting the development strategy for digital product programmes.
* Driving successful customer acquisition journeys, driven through customer insight and testing.
* Working closely alongside client managers and other squad leads to leverage digital designs.
* Acting as a key contributor to the agile roll-out programme.
* Product and proposition development through agreeing, building, analysing and enhancing customer experience for digital product programmes.
* Building and delivering key digital programmes to agreed customer KPIs.
* Attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog prioritisation and feedback sessions.
* Analysis and monitoring of programmes pre and post delivery.

Essential skills/experience:

* Significant digital experience in a PO role or similar.
* Ability to prioritise workload effectively.
* Able to react and respond to risks and opportunities within your area of responsibility.
* Strong documentation skills, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
* A good understanding of agile digital delivery - preferably within the fintech market place.
* Passionate about great user design and experience across new customer acquisition and transacting.
* Strong understanding of digital customer journeys and UX in a competitive landscape and experience in defining how to stay ahead in terms of product offering and digital capability.
* Experience of building a framework of test and learn through A/B testing.
* Product management experience in lending product set is preferred, but will also consider other consumer-facing financial services backgrounds, gaming or telecoms background.
* Experience in managing and implementing strategic change programmes.
* Business case creation, analytical skills monitoring skills and proven experience of being able to react to change as needed.
