Working within the BD, Marketing & Communications Group, this leading global legal firm requires an experienced bids professional on a 12 month fixed term contract basis who can hit the ground running in a senior role.

The role holder will join a new friendly, high performing team of Pitch & Pursuits specialists in EMEA who lead the firm's most strategic pitches for key clients and regional pursuits. The firm is looking for a Senior Pitch & Pursuits Manager with strong bids experience, the gravitas to influence partners and lead key client pitch processes, as well as be a role model for team members, collaborating and sharing best practice, engaging in process development, training and coaching. The successful candidate will serve as the lead on key pitches, working with partners to rigorously assess proposal opportunities and helping partners to decline opportunities that are not in line with the Firm strategy. You will be expected to proactively develop and manage client-centric key messages and content and marshal resources to ensure that proposals of superior quality are delivered on time. You will be tasked with conducting post-pitch debrief meetings feeding back key points to the business to facilitate further learning and development.

You must have strong experience in BD or communications in a professional services firm, with significant hands on experience in proposal development and exemplary management skills. The Senior Pitch & Pursuits Manager will be persuasive and diplomatic with the ability to handle multiple projects on tight deadlines simultaneously and deal autonomously with highly intelligent and demanding internal clients at all levels. In addition applicants must be client-focused, motivated and have great personal drive and energy.
