An international real estate services company with ambitious growth plans is seeking a hands-on Business Development Manager who will be responsible for sales activity for selective business units and sector groups.

Reporting into the Head of Business Development, the successful candidate will be a results driven, team player who brings with them a winning mentality. New business generation will be a key part of the role, from lead identification to closing new accounts, and the role holder will support business units in delivering their financial targets and business plans. Maintaining and developing networking contacts through industry related associations, you will be responsible for identifying new business, coordinating and implementing strategies to identify and secure new clients, and will assist in developing sales growth strategies including tactics and action plans required to achieve key objectives. The Business Development Manager will need to conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities and will be expected to lead various cross sell initiatives aimed at developing clients and targets more effectively. Working closely with the firm's client development team on KAM plans and the firm's client feedback programme will be an important element of this role.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will have previous experience working in a business development role and in a professional services environment. Highly organised and experienced in managing sales pipelines, you must also have a proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth. The Business Development Manager will also require a strong understanding of property and the key elements of the property life cycle, in order to capitalise on cross sell and upsell opportunities.
