Job Type: Permanent, Full-time 35 hours per week

The new marketing and communications manager role has been created to support the work of our Care Quality Improvement (CQID) Department. The RCP is a leading global advocate for the best health and care for all, with our CQID teams responsible for bringing this vision alive with programmes on clinical guideline development, audit and accreditation, patient safety and quality improvement.

The role will be suited to a strategic and creative thinker with a track record for delivering results across the full marketing and communications mix. You will be confident at engaging with stakeholders and committed to promoting the benefits of our care quality approaches in the NHS and more widely.

Key responsibilities

  • Targeted marcomms strategies and campaigns
  • Expert content creation
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Social and traditional media
  • Working closely with all parts of the RCP, liaising and supporting senior staff and officers

About You

  • Expert in current marketing and communications techniques
  • Quick and accurate writer and multi-tasker
  • Adept in using social media for targeted messaging and sales
  • Confident, creative, imaginative and outcomes-focused
  • Collaborative but confident working autonomously.
