A highly autonomous, full 360 PR role, that will be responsible for increasing the awareness and consideration of the business and its products across multiple media platforms, in addition to generating traffic and footfall for sales channels.

Description

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

* PR Strategy



Develop and implement a Global PR strategy designed to drive business in existing markets and where appropriate, launch business into new markets.

* Agency Management



Manage the relationship with outsourced PR agencies, ensuring messages are aligned, briefs are in line with brand objectives and performance measures are in place.

* Press Office



Work with PR agencies to manage day-to-day press office activities, to ensure regular drum beat of product coverage, including proactive outreach, media pitching and sample seeding.

* PR Campaigns



Plan, develop and execute creative campaigns, over and above the regular press office activities that raise awareness of business and gain coverage in lifestyle, fashion and national media.

* PR Calendar



Manage the calendar of PR and activity, in line with product launches, new market expansion and sales seasonality.

* PR Asset Creation



Responsible for creating press materials and distributing to agencies and key media.

* Relationship Management



Build direct relationships with key opinion leaders, such as reporters, editors and influencers.

* Channel and Partner Integration



Work with sales, channel marketing and product management teams, to develop joint PR programs with our channel and manufacturer partners.

* Measurement & Reporting

Set KPI's for all activity which are aligned with business objectives. Continuously measure activity against KPI's and develop reporting framework to communicate results to senior management and wider business.

* Budget management



Manage the global PR budget ensuring a tight control on spend and maximizing ROI. Own purchase orders and invoicing for PR function.


Profile

Key qualities the ideal candidate will demonstrate are:

* Passionate about PR and approach your work with great enthusiasm.
* You have practical approach and can get hands-on when necessary.
* In-depth experience of developing, managing and executing global PR strategy.
* You have strong experience of managing internal and external relationships and are able to influence stakeholders to drive results that meet business objectives.
* A great team player able to build cross-functional relationships
* Natural ability to communicate to senior stakeholders and you will excel in building relationships with external parties.
* Having an established network of contacts in business, consumer and entertainment media and influencer communities.
* You have a keen eye for detail and passion to develop engaging PR campaigns and content.

* Demonstrable experience in public relations and social media
* Proven track record of managing and executing global PR campaigns
* Results orientated with strong analytical skills
* Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships
* Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail
* Possess the ability to keep information confidential
* Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms
* Ability to work in high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
* A wide degree of creativity and latitude
