Large household name organisation based in Berkshire, with a very well established marketing team.

Your new role
This client is seeking a native/business fluent German speaking marketeer, who will lead the marketing team to launch in Germany. This part of the business is an online consumer focused solution that enables consumers to find trusted auto repair shops. The role will report to the Global GM, with dotted lines into the Global Marketing team and will be based in UK.

As the German Marketing Manager you will develop and implement the German marketing plan B2C and B2B. The successful candidate will need to be an exceptional marketing skills including content creator and distributor, as you will need to manage the strategy to the tactical and you will be expected to manage budgets.

What you'll need to succeed

* At least 5 years experience blue chip multi-channel marketing including content/social strategy creation, distribution and publishing.
* Experience on a variety of CMS's, knowledge of Salesforce, Adobe Campaign is key and knowledge of HTML
* Hands on experience of driving SEO and PPC/display campaigns
* Experience that combines being a digital native, with a good rigour for brand understanding, is important in order to be able to create and build the editorial tone of voice for the business
* Entrepreneurial 'lean start-up' mentality yet similarly someone who can utilise and has experience of the patience required and understanding of the corporate mentality we sit within.
* Strong insight and analytical skills, with the ability to convert those into best in class content. Content that solves consumer and customer frustrations within the user experience, reduces churn, develops loyalty and stickiness ( so we are not simple a dating agency) and generates revenue.
* Passionate about making a difference with a positive and results-orientated attitude.
* Comfortable working in a dual target audience environment. Experience of working in B2B and B2C environments.
* Strong understanding of the local German social media landscape and paid performance experience.
* Experience using social media analytics and listening tools and platform analytics - Google
* Strong editing skills desirable: Adobe Photoshop / FCP
* Ability and passion to create all forms of content, image, copy and infographic and proofreading skills
