Product Pricing Coordinator - £25-£30k - Wallingford

Your new company
You will get to work in a new role for a global, industry leading manufacturer based in Wallingford that boasts a product portfolio that covers over 15,000 items.

Your new role
Your new role will be giving you lots of responsibility and be varied and will see you focusing on product management, with particular attention to pricing. You will be expected to provide accurate pricing analysis on existing and new products and reporting any margin variances per SBU and material group and provide actionable steps to improve any areas falling short. You will be set sales and profit targets on allocated accounts and be tasked with increasing margins across product groups. On a daily basis you will need to manage PAWS pricing requests. From a more strategic standpoint you will need to plan and implement pricing studies across various business sectors as well as working with the E-Commerce department to suggest suitable online price corridors in comparison with Trade and Online customers. Finally you will responsible for implementing and uphold price increases.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need to continually study the marketplace, to ensure products match with changing requirements and gain information from Sales Teams to establish a need for additional or updated products within the range and this will actually involve attending trade shows. Along with this you will also need to maintain overall control of new products to ensure maximum margins and production within agreed timescales. There will be lots of communications required in this role through various means, such as; providing forecasting for products and ensure this information is shared with Management team and other relevant staff. In terms of communications, you will also need to effectively liaise with the Technical Team, Purchasing Team, Commercial Team and Marketing Team.
