The Communications Assistant has a key role to play in supporting the team in planning and delivering internal and external communications to key groups and stakeholders. The post holder will write, edit, co-ordinate and publish content across various channels.

They are looking for someone to join their small, friendly communications team and work collaboratively with them to deliver various communications and marketing projects.


Description

The Communications Assistant will be responsible for:

* Undertaking all administrative work generated by the team
* Managing the content calendar and keeping the team updated with incoming work
* Managing and organising the photo library
* Photo editing & uploading images and videos
* Daily monitoring and reporting of social media activity
* Helping to implement the internal and external communications strategies
* Develop and provide support for marketing opportunities


Profile

The successful Communications Assistant will have:

* A degree in a relevant subject
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels
* Resilience and confidence, the ability to work with colleagues and challenge where necessary
* A keen interest in marketing or communications
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on competing projects
* Strong IT & Admin skills
