You will lead the design and delivery of the organisation's UK wide strategy for digital engagement which will include the website, social media channels with a focus on customer service, user engagement and customer needs. You will represent the organisation on all digital engagement offering advice and expertise to a range of internal stakeholders on current and future opportunities to engage with their audiences.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Head of Digital Engagement include:

*

Playing a pivotal role in helping to engage and mobilise our audiences using creative and compelling strategies that use the power of digital channels and a high-quality editorial approach
*

You will utilise your strategic insight and expert knowledge to identify the best ways to deliver our digital engagement goals
*

As a specialist head of department, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of eight and also be responsible for using a collaborative approach and offer business partnering to our service design team who are developing and delivering our digital funding products


*

They will be the first point of contact for senior staff on digital engagement and will mobilise not just their team but wider digital contributors ensuring that all engagement is on brand and in line with our role as a public body
*

The Head of Digital Engagement will work closely with and the senior managers across strategic communications, brand and policy and public affairs.
*

Work closely with the Senior Head of Brand, Digital and Partnerships and will on occasion deputise for them.


Profile

The successful candidate will be:

* Experienced in leading teams and working with senior members of the an organisation leading and implementing strategic business decisions.
*

A highly influential and innovative individual with an impressive track record of developing and delivering strategies to mobilise people power through the innovative use of digital tools and channels that is led by data on audience usage
*

Significant experience in website development, digital media channel development, customer service and information management, editorial and publishing, writing, content development, with relevant qualification or experience
*

Advanced communication and analytical skills
*

Experience or understanding of using appropriate technology, methods and equipment including some of the following Wordpress; Dotmailer; Umbraco; Sitecore; and Telligent/Zimbra
*

Experience or understanding of some of the following software: Photoshop CS4; Dreamweaver CS4; Azure & Balsamiq (Wireframing); Google Analytics; Hootsuite; Edge; Videoscribe; Prezzi; and Acrobat Pro
