Reporting to: Love Wimbledon Strategic Marketing Manager & CEO
Staff management: Communications Executive (full time)
Salary: £35,000 pro rata

We are looking for a talented new member to join our team, covering for maternity leave; an enthusiastic team player capable of managing the delivery of effective marketing campaigns and events. 

You will work alongside the BID team to ensure the successful development and delivery of marketing and events for Love Wimbledon Business Improvement District, ensuring the profile of the brand remains positive and strong.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage marketing campaigns, from initial planning, delivery and post campaign evaluation for business to business and business to consumer
  • Manage all Love Wimbledon events from initial planning, delivery, event management on the day and post event evaluation
  • Manage content and delivery of the bi-annual Our Wimbledon Magazine
  • Manage the Love Wimbledon website
  • Support and promote town centre businesses in their campaigns and improve town centre profile
  • Contribute to and devise campaigns to support the marketing strategy
  • Ensure marketing compliance with GDPR
  • Manage the structure of the image library
  • Develop and promote sponsorship opportunities to businesses
  • Maintain a high level of briefing of campaigns at team meetings and to the wider team
  • Support CEO and Strategic Marketing Adviser in delivery of communications for lobbying and improving the future of Wimbledon
  • Manage advertising opportunities
  • Liaise with suppliers and agencies as required
  • Manage and report against delegated budgets for above activities
  • Support CEO by attending meetings as and when required
  • Manage budgeting
  • Ensure the company profile remains high through brand management and representing Love Wimbledon at appropriate events

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential

  • Excellent understanding of building and executing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Online content management and website experience
  • Creative marketer, including ability to write engaging copy for a variety of marketing and communication channels
  • Self-motivated and an excellent team player with a hands on attitude and enthusiastic approach
  • Confidently able to work independently and drive own workload, as well as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills, able to manage multiple projects and prioritise work
  • Problem solving approach, positive, flexible and solution orientated
  • Results driven, able to analyse and respond to opportunities and challenges and implement tactics and projects to deliver outstanding outcomes
  • Competent with the Microsoft Office suite and other design software

Desirable

  • Knowledge and understanding of BIDs and the challenges and opportunities for town and city centres
  • Knowledge of Wimbledon town centre and/or Love Wimbledon BID
  • Degree level education
