An independent holiday ecommerce brand is looking for a Head of Digital to lead the eCommerce team.

You must be someone who is commercially minded. Your objective is to drive sales to the website, maximise conversion and channel share. They will be replacing their CMS to Sitecore in January as the website has millions of visitors.

HEAD OF DIGITAL RESPONSIBILITES

* Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, booking funnel and promotional campaigns
* Manage all aspects of web analytics and reporting related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners
* Build and direct a small team of internal and external personnel to effectively develop and implement eCommerce solutions
* Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact for eCommerce project management- to evaluate, prioritise, develop, manage, implement and test eCommerce initiatives
* Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the company to support the eCommerce strategy
* Optimisation of digital response channel performance (PPC, display, social, SEO, affiliates,
email marketing)

HEAD OF DIGITAL EXPERIENCE

* Proven leadership of eCommerce projects
* Working knowledge of customer acquisition and retention models
* Preferably some knowledge of hotel, travel or retail industry.
* Knowledge of technology and Google Analytics as well as other relevant analytics tools
* Team leadership and talent development
* Demonstrated strong business judgement and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate highest impact initiatives
* Implement and oversee A/B tests, working closely with the tech team to ensure alignment with business goals
* Excellent analytical skills - able to compile reports and analysis, identify patterns and building
a case for change
* Someone who knows the digital space and knowledge of SEO and content and CRM
