A leading B2C & B2B organisation based in West Yorkshire

Due to an increase in activity, my client is actively looking for a Head of Marketing on a 6-12month fixed term contract. This role is responsible for the development and delivery of the marketing and communications strategy in line with the business objectives. The role takes ultimate responsibility for the brand and manages the teams covering branding, advertising and communications both digital and offline, content, PR and social media together with internal creative resource.

Responsibilities

* Lead the creation of the marketing strategy and annual brand plans
* Deliver the ongoing messaging strategy for different channels and audiences, ensuring this stays up to date, relevant and communicated to the wider organisation
* Provide marketing strategy and plans to support all commercial business units (B2B, B2C, C2C and retail) to help deliver commercial and financial targets
* Lead in the development of go to market strategy for all key innovation and proposition launches
* Ensure the strategies and activation plans for advertising, content, events, PR, POS and digital channels are all aligned with the overall marketing strategy, are on brand and delivered to an exceptional standard
* Ensure quality and cost effective creative and activities through effective agency management and management of the internal creative team.
* Ongoing reporting - providing periodic updates for board meetings, evaluation and reporting of ROI and evaluations of activity

Personal Profile

* Experience working in a commercial marketing role within B2B & B2C industries
* Strong stakeholder management experience across senior management & board level
* Key focus on ROI and profitability when deciding and allocating marketing spend
* Full mix marketing experience online and offline within a team management role.
* Ability to manage and deliver effectively through agencies and inhouse creative teams
* Experience working in a fast paced and highly collaborative environment
