My client are a vibrant, digital first insurtech scale-up, targeting the small business and micro SME segment, and are currently seeking to recruit a talented Digital Product Manager to help the business to rapidly scale in response to market opportunities and demand.

Working within a small, growing team, you'll play an integral role in product and platform development over the long-term, to help them become the digital on demand insurer to small businesses in the UK and beyond. Key responsibilities:

* Delivering multiple work streams, projects and products using appropriate agile methodology, constantly learning and iterating.
* Working closely alongside the Product Director and other stakeholders to manage the product road-map for the development portfolio and individual products.
* Leading the planning process, collaborating with development teams and relevant stakeholders, prioritising workload against capacity, capability and criticality of teams and requirements.
* Take the lead on scoping requirements and drafting technical specifications for the development teams.
* Implementing product delivery governance standards, ensuring completion of all controls and documentation.
* Tracking and managing issue resolution process and development backlog.
* Managing the internal development resource.
* Alongside development teams, working to identify resource and asset requirements to achieve sprint delivery.
* Ensuring all project burn and status reporting is accurate, clear and timely.
* Demonstrating a detailed understanding of all RAIDs processes, ensuring RAIDs are identified, logged, owned and tracked.
* Managing any changes in scope, establishing formal change and control process with development teams.
* Leading acceptance process for UAT.

Essential knowledge and experience:

* Passionate about innovating customer experience through digital product development.
* Proven experience in delivering digital products and projects.
* Proven experience in using a range of agile project management methods.
* Experience in balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
* An up to date understanding of the digital landscape.
* Experience of working with third party suppliers and resources.
* Proficiency in MS Office 365 (PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
* Proficiency in Jira, Confluence and G-Suite (Drive, Docs and Gmail).
