Description

Key Responsibilities & Accountability's will include but not be limited to:



Strategic Marketing:

* Development of strategic marketing plan in association with the Services team

* Development of value proposition in association with the Services team

* Development of messaging for Services offering as a whole and the individual products within the portfolio.

* Demonstration and application of detailed knowledge of all core channels and markets in order to maximise marketing exposure, co-ordinate upstream/downstream feedback and new product development intelligence, assist revenue generation and develop long term strategy. Expertise in digital marketing - search, social media, content marketing and thought leadership campaign management is essential.

* Work off own initiative and in collaboration with other key contacts to identify market gaps and develop solutions which generate 'fast to market' revenue generating market offerings or communications.

Marcoms:

* Development and implementation of a strategic marketing plan for the businesses Consultancy and Services as a whole and the product streams within it.

* Work closely with the services Marketing Executives on campaign execution managing workloads and time to ensure delivery of key objectives to budget and deadlines

* Work within the framework of Group Marketing on brand, channels and set high level digital strategy for the product in line with Group marketing requirements

* Work closely with Group Marketing to identify new channels, techniques or tools which allow you to enhance your campaigns or test with new initiatives especially reviewing Database segments, Digital and social channels and using customer insights for upsell and cross sell opportunities

* Ensure the products are promoted to the maximum extent in the relevant media/channels in order to establish ROI and drive future revenues.

* Maintain awareness of specific product-related events which require attendance or offer speaking opportunities, raising profile of product, in line with the existing plan and budget

Commercial

* As part of a matrix structure this role is responsible for revenue delivery for the business

* Accountable for lead generation, lead qualification

* Collaboration with Sales in order to develop and maintain focus on delivery of campaigns, activities, product/technical solutions that support sales revenue forecasting and generation

* Key point of contact for Group Marketing, Sales and Customer Relations for product

* Accountable for the strategic allocation and monitoring of budget associated with the product

* A monthly report on key performance indicators proving the success of marketing plans and activities and conversions into sales acquisition and retention activities

* Responsible for input into bid process where required

Management/Leadership:

* Establish this role as the 'go to' for the Services portfolio and be the product 'champion' with both internal colleagues and external contacts

* Line responsibility for team of a Marketing Executive with responsibility for driving a high performing team mentality

* Accountable for overall review, management and reporting of the implementation success of the strategic marketing plan

* Active contribution to the development of the department goals, strategies and standing within the organisation


Profile

The successful candidate will have some or all of the following attributes:

* Proven successful commercial approach

* Proactive and results orientated, with the ability to balance multiple projects and spontaneous marketing opportunities that may arise

* Excellent understanding of all marketing channels coupled with current understanding of digital marketing trends and opportunities. Demonstrable experience in digital, social and content marketing within a subscription environment will be a distinct advantage

* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written adapted to all levels of internal stakeholders and external contacts representing the brand

* Proven experience of developing strong internal working relationships across functions and ability to influence

* Excellent copy and design evaluation skills and the ability to identify the 'story' around a product

* Proven lead generation experience within a consultancy environment

* High performing team management experience highly desirable

* International marketing experience is highly desirable

* 3+ years' experience marketing Professional Services/Consultancy portfolio with a focus on strategic marketing





* Graduate (or equivalent) with marketing qualification desirable (eg CIM)
