My client, a successful global B2B business is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to join their fast growing business. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who will be responsible for evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing activities, communicating marketing plans and building awareness and positioning for the companies brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the Groups marketing activities whilst managing a small team
Evaluating and developing marketing strategies and marketing plans for new and existing products and solutions
Planning, directing, creation, coordinating and communicating marketing campaigns
Market Research on demand for our products and solutions and identifying potential new markets
Working closely with the company's Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations via sales tools
Creation of line cards/internal catalogue structure covering complete product & solution offerings
Developing and managing advertising campaigns
Building on brand awareness and product positioning
Working with sales and product teams on marketing collateral, including brochures, case studies, videos, presentations, catalogues, emails and websites
Competitor analysis and creation of materials with reference to advantageous "Benefits and Features" that can then be effectively utilised by our regional Sales teams
Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results
Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
Preparing online, print and video marketing campaigns
Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications
Creating a wide range of different marketing materials
Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant parties are kept informed of marketing activities, new marketing materials and ongoing activities with timescales
Coordinating marketing projects from start to finish
Managing company conferences, trade shows, and major marketing events
Overseeing social media marketing strategy, content marketing and on-line trade web store

Skills Required:
Educated to Degree level
Must have extensive marketing experience within a B2B product sector within a senior management role
"Hands-on" experience in marketing and running a small marketing team
Proven marketing campaign experience across the full marketing mix channels (both offline and online)
Must have strong copy writing skills
Entrepreneurial mind set with the ability to spot original Marketing opportunities
High competence in project and stakeholder management
Experience of managing 3rd party agencies
Team management experience
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing (linkedin, blogs, you tube) and content marketing
Understanding of CRM systems (salesforce), email campaigns (mail chimp) direct marketing and their functionality
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Company Benefits:
Competitive up to £50k basic (depending on experience)
Flexible hours, 8.00- 4.30 Mon-Thurs, Friday - 1.30pm finish (37.5hours)
