The role will report to the Head of Marketing and work closely to support the Marketing and BD team to implement the firm's group marketing plans and ensure timely delivery and budgetary control of assigned activities.

The key responsibilities for the role are:

* Understanding the vision, mission and business opportunities to develop communications, advertising and direct marketing campaigns to support these.

* Understand the brand positioning and values, to ensure all marketing activities reflect this.

* Delivering marketing campaigns across various media and channels (e.g. email, social media, website, print) ensuring they run smoothly and deadlines are met

* Identifying hot topics and industry trends and developing advertising, communications and direct marketing, monitoring competitor activities in response.

* Manage content on the firm's website using the content management system (WordPress)

* Manage the firm's social media accounts

* Write content for a variety of purposes from design briefs to news stories.

* Use InDesign, and work with a third-party designer, to produce compelling promotional materials, adverts, marketing collateral and other printed materials

* Manage the firm's intranet site

* Understand marketing measures and contribute to reviews and the continuous improvement of marketing and business development activities

* Support the Head of Marketing to manage the firm-wide marketing budgets by processing invoices and monitoring spending.


The successful candidate will have:

* At least three years' generalist marketing experience, with strong project management skills
* Ambitious and motivated
* Strong team player and the confidence to work with senior individuals internally and externally
* Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects.

* Technical marketing skills in external communications, advertising, copywriting, design, purchasing media, direct marketing/email marketing

* Strong project management skills and expert communication skills, including ability to write with influence, strong copywriting, proof-reading and editing ability

* Good numeracy and reporting skills.

* Understanding of event management, sponsorship and promotions

* Good understanding of the professional services firms or partnership structures

* Degree educated.

* Experience across the full marketing mix

* Experience of budget control.
