We are seeking a highly experienced marketing professional who is looking for a challenging and exciting role with the opportunity to manage a significant area of marketing activity, whilst working as part of a high-performing team.
The role of our award-winning Marketing, Communications and Development team is to protect and promote the brand and reputation of the University, along with communicating a compelling, consistent and authentic message to a wide range of audiences. Our remit is extensive from corporate communications, marketing, press and event management to alumni and development, design and web development.
Based in the Science and Engineering Faculty Marketing Team, you will lead and manage the development of strategic marketing and communications activities for postgraduate portfolios on behalf of the assigned faculties to drive applications and raise the Faculty's profile. You will work closely with student recruitment and academic colleagues, with a focus on lead acquisition and conversion.
You will be a proactive, hands-on and technically literate marketer with excellent all-round marketing skills including brand development, advertising, stakeholder management, digital marketing, CRM, media relations and PR, publication production, copywriting, design management and events management.
Experience of high-level stakeholder management, student recruitment marketing and providing strategic planning and operational support is essential. We're particularly looking for candidates with strong digital marketing experience, who are able to interpret results and optimise campaign performance.
